When the playstation network went down, the PS3 became the butt of many jokes, but now it's back to its former glory and gamers couldn't be happier. It was a long 24 days, but now Sony has decided to compensate all the fans who waited patiently, some not so much considering how many PS3's were sold during the down time, by giving away a bunch of games free to download on the Playstation Store.
The great thing about the games they chose, though, is that they didn't chose games they thought weren't going to sell any way, they chose good games from some of their best developers, such as Sucker Punch, and Media Molecule. The ga
mes for free download are the following:
Dead Nation, inFamous, Little Big Planet, Super Stardust HD, and Wipe out HD + Fury.

But Hold on, to all of you out there with PSP's, Sony didn't forget about you guys, Sony has also made the four following PSP games free to download as well.
Little Big Planet PSP, ModNation Racers PSP, Pursuit Force, and Killzone Liberation.
While no one can deny that the fall of the Playstation network was a horrible thing, it looks like Sony is doing everything they can to prevent this from happening again and is even throwing a bone to their fans, and in the end, that's all we can ask for.
