Valve, the creators of such game franchises such as Half-Life, Portal, and Left 4 Dead, have announced today that they will not be showing any games at the E3 expo this year; Thus crushing the dreams of many fanboys wanting to see the next Half-Life game that was rumored to be at the show. By releasing the following statement:
"Lots of folks have mailed asking about appointment times with Valve," reads an e-mail from the company. "Well, we are not showing any titles at this year's show. So no appointment is needed."
Well, that kind of sucks doesn’t it? People have been buzzing over Valve’s upcoming releases like Doda 2. It’s a shame that we won’t get to see what they have in store for us next. For all we know, this is just some PR stunt and they will “surprise” us at E3 when we see the Half-Life 3 trailer. But in any case, I’m sure we will see something from them by the end of the year.
